CHURCH SOCIAL AT BURWOOD.

A very successful church social took place in tho Burwood Parish Hall on Tuesday, given for Miss Ruhr Inwood on the occasion of her marriage. The Vicar presented her, on behalf oi the parishioners, with a handsome and complete suite of furniture. Tbe hall was full of enthusiastic friends, who greatly enjoyed the programme of music which was given by members of the Girls Friendly Society, the Ministering Children c League, "id tJ "> chr.drcn's choir, and by Messrs Rogers, Saikeld, and Kent, and Master Arnold Livesay. Tho evening concluded with a dance, the musio being provided by Mr Len. Saikeld.
