TO-DAY'S MATCHES. At Richmond Park to-day Canterbury will meet Westland in a challenge match for the Brown Shield. The visitors, who arrived last evening, are reported to bo a strong team, and Canterbury's representatives can be relied upon to put up a good showing, so that tho match should be full of interest to Soccerites. This is the first chnllengo gam»> for tho shield this year, Hawke's Bay foregoing their challenge as they were unable to get a team away at present. A curtain raiser will be played betwee-'.i St. Bede's' College and the Nomads' third giado team. The big fixture commences at 2.45 p.m..
