MINISTERIAL.

THE HON. R. HEATON RHODES

ON TOUR.

Tho Hon. R. H. Rhodes, PostmasterGeneral and Minister of Public Health, arrived in town yesterday morning from Wellington, and will remain in tho Canterbury district for about ten days. Mr Rhodes will spend a busy day today. In the morning he will take part in tho. King's Birthday parado of Territorials, and at 2 o'clock in the afternoon he will open tho King George V. Coronation Memorial Hospital in connexion with the Consumption Sanatorium on Cashmero Hills. At 4 o'clock in the afternoon he will receive a deputation from tho Springs County Council.

On JunO 10th tho Minister will officially turn the first sod of tho new branch of railway that is to be built between Culverden and Waiau.

On the evening of Juno 12th, Mr Rhodes will attend the opening of tho new public hall at Duvauchello.
