» AVON ROWING CLUB. A special general meeting of the Avon Rowing Club was hold in the Boathouse last nisrht, Mr If. 11. Berry presiding over about fifty members. It was decided to purchase » Best and Best convertible double scull and pair oar boat, with a recommendation that it h?. Australian built, al*o a clinker double ecull. to be delivered in tima for the opening of next eeason. It was moved and (seconded that the takings of the billiard table be set arudc as a mortgage extinction fund. The annual emoke concert was fixed for Monday, April Gth. A motion of condolence was pawed with the relations of the late Mr E. C. Asbby, one of the vicepresidents of the club.
