FEMALE EMIGRATION.
WOULD SOLVE A CANADIAN
PROBLEM
("Times" and "'Svlney Sun" Services.) (Received March 13th, 5.30 p.m.) LOXDOX, March 13. Lord Plunket, speaking at a meeting of the British Women's Emigration Association, referred to the dangers besetting female emigration to Australasia, and emphasised the need of supervision by matrons. The Bishop of Yukon said there were 80,000 moro men than women in Canada. The problem was to make them British citizens, and this could be solved by getting sufficient British women to go to Canada as servants, teachers, nurses, and wives.
