PROPERTY SALE AT LYTTELTON.

Threo properties wero sold at Lyttelton yesterday afternoon __ by Messrs \V. E. £>iiues and Co., auctioneers. A section of about one-sixth of an acre and a cottage of four rooms, in Selwyn terrace, was bought by Captain XV. Scott for £50. A quarter-acre section in Walker street, off Voelas road, and a house of fivo rooms, were disposed of for £125 th© purchaser being Mr Joseph Page. A wooden residence of seven rooms, on a section 60ft by 84ft, at the corner of Winchester and Canterbury streets, owned by Mr W. Wales, was also put up to auction. ! .

Bidding commenced at £500. and rose in bids of £25 to £700, at which figure it was passed in.
