FURTHER COMPLICATIONS.
CARRANZA USURPS AUTHORITY
(Bj C»bl«.—Prese Association.—Copyright.)
WASHINGTON, March 2
There has been no examination of Beaton's body by the Commission, consisting of the British Consul at Galvoston, and several medical officers, pending the outcome of the Notes that are passing between General Carranza and the United States, following Carranza's statement that Great Britain, and not the United States, should deal with him concerning the killing of Benton, who was a British and not an American subject.
General Carranza's Note to the United States conveys a broad intimation that all Communications on international affairs should be addressed to him and not to General Villa, which has injected new complications into the situation and caused postponements.
