STIRRING UP STRIFE.

♦— —— (special to "the press.") WELLINGTON, February 23. From time to timo it is made very plain that the demagogues who were responsible for tho disastrous striko last year, and for a lot of unpleasantness besides, havo not hy any means abandoned their provocative tactics. During tho last day or two, for instance, a' leaflet ha« been circulated on tho local wharves which is headed "Tho Scab." It bears the imprint of the "Worker," and carries a set of doggorel verses as abusive in tone as they are clumsy in construction. Men who circulate this kind of stuff at a time when all sorts of efforts are being made to patch up peaco on tho waterfront, aro evidently trying to perpetrate tJrouble as well as looking for it.
