ECHO OF GHENT-FITZGERALD CASES. (By Cable.—Press Awociatkm.--Cflpyrisht4 LONDON, February 12. The Rev. Thomas Ghent summoned Mrs Fitzgerald for striking him in thß street in Stockwell. Mrs Fitzgerald was bound over to keep tho peace. The Rev. Thos. Ghent, curate of St: Andrew's, Stockwell, who was once iv New Zealand, was accused by Police-Sergeant Fitugerald of misconduct with Mrs Fitz>gerald, a middle-aged woman and a church worker. Ghent sued for libel, and after two trials secured a verdict, of £1000 damages.
