(PRESS ASSOCIATION- TELEGRAM.) NELSON, February 4. The Annual Meeting of the Neleon Trotting Club was held to-day in fine weather. There was a large attendance and £3291 was passed through the machine as against £UH last year, the slight decrease being due to the fact that there were only two acceptors in the last race. Results:— PIONEER TROT of 45 eovs; two -miles and a quarter —2 Nada X., 32& ec, 1; 3 Josephine S., 2Gsec, 2; 6 Major Election, 3sec, 3. 3 Bonnywood was ecratched. Won comfortably. Time, 6min 20sec. WAIMEA HANDICAP, of 60 sotb; one mile and a furiong—l Babolink, Beec, 1; 5 Lady H., 9sec, 2; 2 Myrette, 13s©c, 3. All started. "Won easily. Time, 3min leec. TROTTING CLUB HANDICAP, of 115 cove; two miles and a quarter—2 Tarawera, ISsec, 1; 3 Little Bones, 9aec, 2; 1 Ding Dong, lleec, 3. All 6tarte3". "Won easily. Time, omin 556ec. PRESIDENT'S HANDICAP, of 50 sovb; two milee and a quarter—3 Josephine S., 19sec, 1; 2 Alyrette, ssec, 2; 4 Nada K. 13sec, 3. Beirley was scratched. "Wen comfortably. Time, 6min 12sec. BRIGHTWATER HANDICAP, of 50 eovs; two miles and a quarter—3 Mollybrae, 20sec, 1; 4 The Crab, lteec, 2; 6 Polly, 20sec, 3. All started. Won pulling up. Tims, 6min 13sec.
