WORK SLACK AT AUCKLAND.
(PBESS ASSOCIATION TELEGRAM.) AUCKLAND, December 23. Work on the waterfront is scarce. Many former strikers were gathered on the to-day, but dispersed when a notice was posted up mating that no applications for membership in the new union will be considered until after the New Year holidays. A busy period is expected after the holidays.
