F. FREEMAN AND CO.
Messrs F. Freeman and Co. (*- A. I Drayton), of Oxford terrace and Tuam streets, after many years' absence from the Christchurch Show, had a comparatively small but -very excellent exhibit of their, well-known gigs and other conveyances. Their stand was on . the__ machinery and implement section o. the ground, and large numbers of these interested in wheeled vehicles paid their tent a visit. Mr Drayton exhibited three gigs of a particulai'y good design and of a high grade of workmanship, while every feature in connection with them showed that the ease and comfort of those who would have to use them had been carefully .stucfr-d, while the finish in each case could hardly have been excelled. A Ralii gig shown was painted in rich red. with black lines, and was fitted with a Champion seat slide, enabling it to be perfectly balanced. It was silver-mounted throughout, and was an idi-al gig for a lady. There was also a stylish tray gig, "painted yellow and black, and another one painted red and black. Both these were useful and particularly well-finished pics. One special feature was the solid nickel lamps aud mountings, and the tine leather work. A hotly and wheels, j shown with bare, unpainted' wood, was j also exhibited.
