THE ISOLATION OF AUCKLAND.
MINISTER DENIES SUGGESTION. (press association telegram.) WELLINGTON, September 1. Tho lion. LI. Heaton Rhodes, asked last night if ho had done anything further with regard to the isolation of Auckland, which was hinted at on Friday, said: "1 never suggested it, the papers might have, but I. can't help what the papers say."
