NAVAL STORES DAMAGED.
LONDON, September 1. A firo in the naval stores on Haulbowline Island caused damage to the extent of £10;000. The wind swept the flames in the direction of the Rocky Island powder stores, but hundreds of bluejackets prevented the spread of the firo.
