WELLINGTON, August 29. The Minister or Public Liuilth (.the Hon. R. Heaton Rhcxles), on being questioned tiiis evening as to a report that there was a possibility of Auckland being partially isolated owing to tho epidemic, said: "There is no present intention to compel everyone travelling south from the Auckland province to bo vaccinated, but it may be necessary in the future to take more stringent measures than aro at present being taken."

The Minister would say nothing further on the subject, beyond remarking that he would again urgo all persons in the Auckland province, both Europeans and Maoris, to take steps to be vaccinated.
