DAIRY PRODUCE.
There aro no changes to note in the local prices of dairy produce, and supplies are keeping up to requirements, except in the case of eggs, which aro still scarce and dear on account of' the cold and damp weather. The prospects are that dairy produce will bo in short supply.in the North Island during the winter. Th© dry weather in many dis-
tricts through tho autumn, followed by tho cold snaps during tho current month, has caused a great shortage of fend, and the milk supply has fallen off very considerably. Local prices are recorded as under: — Cheese —Factory C}d. dairy 6d, loaf GJd. Butter —Factory 14d. farmers' separator 10d to lid, dairy 9d to 10d. Bacon—Sides 9Jd, rolls 10d, hafais lid. Honey—Extracted, 3d per lb. Wax —Is to Is 2d per lb. Lard—Bladders Bd, pats BJd. Eggs—2s per dozen.
