Hospital has been conductedj throujjh--2 out its existence in a building which - was not erected for use as a hospital, " and is therefore structurally defective. ii It is not invariably safe to generaliso f from a specific case, and tho sweeping ;■ condemnation which our contemporary J , has passed upon tho St. Helens - hospital system as a whole is grounded upon very insecure foundation, when it has no other justification than that afforded by the revelation of faults in the management of one of these insti-. tutions. '
