THE INDRABARAH.
VESSEL BROADSIDE ON. iritEss association tei.kgraj*.) MAUTO.V. May 14. This morning tho Indrabarah was practically in tbo same position, though eho is now three-parts broadside-on to tho shore. Though there is no wind, tho sea is very rough, but shows signs of abating. There are now threo connections by rope with tho shore, and messages arc being transmitted by this means instead of by semaphore. No tugs are in sight yet, but evidently the Tcravvhiti is expected, as sho coaled at Castlecliff yesterday, and has all tho necessary gear. Tho crew are in good spirits. MARTON, May 14. There are many conjectures as to the distance of the Indrabarah from the shore. Somo cay '100 yards and others lijO, but the true distance is eomewhere n*ar tho former figure at high water. All who have seen her say sho will never bo towed off, as thero ie a big sand bank somo distance from tho shore, over which sho has been driven. She is now broadside on, her bow pointing to the south, towards the Rangitikoi river. Big rollers arc sweeping over her, tho spray reaching over halfway up the funnel at high water. No tugs appeared to-day, but Captain Daniels went to the scene' to-day with several tons of wiro ropes, etc., in readiness. An attempt to Tow her off will l>o made, it is .understood, on Saturday.
