FOOTBALL AND HOCKEY MATCHES.
Negotiations have been in progress for some time, with tho idea of arranging matches at Rugby football, Association football, and hockey, between teams- representing the local Territorials and the men of tho New Zealand. Sergoant-Majors Lβ Mottle and Grovor have brought them. to a successful issue. On Wednesday, the 14th, a Rugby match-will be played at Lancaster Park, when'6d admission to tho ground, and 6d to the grandstand, will bo charged. It is hoped that the band of the Ist M.R. (C.V.C) will play there. a hockey match will bo played at Sydenham Park, and a collection taken in aid of the.Territorial Snorts Fund. Tho samo day an Association match will be played against the Burnham School boys, at Burnham.
