AIELBOURNE, February 5
Air Pearee, Commonwealth Minister of Defence, says that the Federal authorities did not foresee that imprisonment could bo inflicted under tho Stato Act for non-payment of fines in connection with the Commonwealth Compulsory Training Act. The matter has been referred to the AttorneyGeneeral.
