FURTHER LIGHT ON THE MYSTERY.

Ihe Rev. Mr Knight was a popular cricketer, footballer and boxer. Ho had lately treated his ivifo violently, and behaved cjuecrly.
On January ISth he compelled his wife to accoirq any him to Bridlington, and from there tramped six miles in mud and fog to a dangerous cliff. He told her he intended to distil jvar, and carefully prepared the M.-ene, leaving his umbrella and camera on tho cliff. Ho then departed, after instruct, ing his wife to go to the nearest farmhouse arid say she saw him fall over the cliff.
Mrs Knight was unaware of her husband's intentions, but was simply terrorised. Sho did not know of bis relations with a school teacher.
Tho "Yorkshire Post" says that tho Rev. Mr Knight sailed for Australia, accompanied by a female Sunday school teacher.
It is believed that Knight and tho school teacher sailed in the Ballarat under assumed names.
