Ho then departed, after instruct, ing his wife to go to the nearest farmhouse arid say she saw him fall over the cliff.

Mrs Knight was unaware of her husband's intentions, but was simply terrorised. Sho did not know of bis relations with a school teacher.

Tho "Yorkshire Post" says that tho Rev. Mr Knight sailed for Australia, accompanied by a female Sunday school teacher.

It is believed that Knight and tho school teacher sailed in the Ballarat under assumed names.
