AN EXCITING RESCUE.

The tug Margaret struck a submerged wreck on the New Jersey coast. She reached tho beach in a sinking condition, and stranded on a sandbar. During a terrific galo tho crew attempted to launch tho lifeboat, which overturned. Ono sailor was drowned, but the life-savers rescued ton others. When nearing tho shore tho lifeboat overturned, but tho spectators rushed into tho surf and dragged all to safety.
