Mr Fraser, Federal Postmaster-Gener-al, sails for New Zealand on Saturday, on a short visit, partly on pleasure and partly on business. Ho will discuss a number of questions with th'> Dominion Postmastor-Gcneral, including the rates charged by the Atlantic cablo companies for messages reaching Australia via tho Pacific iouto, tho establishment and equipment of Pacific vireloss stations ami automatic telephones. Regarding tho latter, ho hopes to gain information of the Now Zealand experiments which will enable hi:n to cany out telephono reforms.
