FIGHTING AT JANINA.
HEAVY LOSSES ON BOTH SIDES. (Received December 24th, 12.15 a.m.) CONSTANTINOPLE, December 23. There has been severe fighting in the vicinity of Janina. Tho Turkish right was driven in and Djavid Pasha was killed. Reinforcements enabled tho Turks to drivo off tho Greeks. The casualties on both sides were heavy.
