A NAVAL SKIRMISH.
AN ALLEGED REVERSE. CONSTANTINOPLE, December 22. Tho Vali of Janina reports that the Greeks were repulsed after a five days' battle.
(Received December 24th, 12.15 a.m.) ATHENS, December 23. A Turkish squadron sortied from the Dardenelles. Tho torpedo boats emorged at full speed and fired twenty shells. The inhabitants attempted to ■welcome tho fleet, but tho Greek garrison fired, killing three and wounding twelvo civilians. Tho squadron then re-entered the Dardanelles. Admiral Coundouriottis' squadron at Lemnos pursued tho Turkish ships, but without result.
