Th? r.v:e ■ was unique as far as the officials were concerned, tho ladioa acting in thnt capacity. Mrs E. Dass acted as stnr'cr and Mcsda:i:ei J. Perkarski, F. Selfe, \V. H. Myc:s, mid J. Carringtcn, u::d Misses M. Crozier, E. Per- j karski, and Common were the judges. Twenty- i one started ard the result was us follows:— i R. Mitchell, 40eec start, I; G. I. ; Bryonton, <mm 40sec, 2; and I?. Roper, 3min SOsec, 3. Timo. 32min 57sec. F. Fnulk, from ■ tho lOsec mark, pu* up 'he fastest tim«, 1 covoring the distance in 30min olsec. i At tho conclusion of tho race Mrs E. Da:;.-., • on behalf of tho latiies, presented the prizes i to tbo successful competitors. Tho first i<r;7.o was a lady's bracelet and n gentleman's drf«.?ing caw, the second a case of razor?, and the third a brief hag. The Pre-vdeni of the Club (Mr W. J. "Walter) thanked tho Irdics for the sreat troublo {hey had gone to in get'ing the prizes, ard at his call three ( cheers wore !?iven for them.
