— v FASHIONABLE FOLK ARRESTED. ONE LADY LOSES £28,000. United Press Acsociation—By Eloctria Telcifrfiph—Copyrieht. LONDON, December 17. Tho police raided a mansion near Belgrave square and arrested twenty persons of good social position. It is stated that a prominent lady lost £'25,000 at baccarat. The house, which was raided by fifty detectives, is one of the largest, gambling houses ever raided in the West End. Tho stakes and counters ranged, from £1 to £100. The players were bound over in sureties of £50, and tho .principals were remanded on bail.
