Eleven mutineers have been shot at Sebastopol, and four hunurcd sailors have been transferred to Royal and Vladivostock. Thero aro strikes in various districts as a protest. A REFUND ORDERED. LONDON, November 26. Mr William Johnson, labour member for Warwickshire (Nuneaton Division), and a member of the Executive of tho Warwickshire Miners' Union, has been ordered to refund £948, tho costs of a libel action paid from the Union funds. The Executive considered that the Union should pay, as tho action was in its interests, but tho Court held that the Union had no legal interest in the result. WORKERS' COMPENSATION. LONDON, November 26. Official returns show that during 1911 tho payments under the Workmen's Compensation Act totalled £3,056,404, compared with £2,700,325 in 1910, and £2,274,238 in 1909. Theso figures cover the seven chief industries, including management funds and legal and medical costs. The whole outpayments in connection with compensation in 1911 amounted to over £4,000,000. SUBSTANTIAL DAMAGES. LONDON, November 26. Alfred Grimshaw. an eng.neer, divorced his wife and obtained an order for £I_oo damages against the corespondent, Harold Greenwood, who was formerly vicar of St. Thomas's, Sunderland, but is now in Australia.
