SIR JOSEPH DIMSDALE. United Press Association—By Electrio Telegraph—Copyright. LONDON, August 11.. The death is announced of the Right Hon. Sir Joseph Cockfield Dimsdale, Bart., ex-Lord Mayor of London, at the age of 63.

A resident of Christchuich has received cabled news of the death, on Saturday last, at Worthing, England of Elizabeth le widow of the late George le Brunn, who was well-known as a musical composer. Mrs lo Brunn was a sister-in-law of Mr Silbon-Alpe. of the Theatre- Royal 6taff, Christchurch.
