United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright. ■ LONDON, July 11. ; The P. and 0. steamer Persia, outward bound for Bombay, wont ashore during a fos at Sausset, near Marseilles. The passengers were : landed in safety. ' (Received July 13th, 12.15 a.m.) PARIS, July 12. The Persia is fast by the bows, fifty yards from tho shore. Her position is not dangerous, and the vessel is not making water!.

Tho Persia is a vessel of 7551 tons, and wae launched in 1900. The P. and O. Company have had heavy losses lately, as they have lost the Oceana and tho Delhi, and have had one or twoother mishaps.
