Matron and Co. offered for public auction at their rooms on Saturday, on account of tho Temple ton Domain Hoard, tho lease for seven years of 229 acres Tompleton Domain. There was a fair amount of bidding, Mr D. McCluro being tho success!ul bidder at 7s 2d an acre. Craddock, McCrostie Co., on Saturday held an auction ealo at their rooms, on account if Mr Wm. Andrews, of nino allotments, comprising altogether about 32J acres, in tho Burwood and Dallington districts. Tlioro was keen bidding, prices ranging from £65 per -acre to £150 por acre, the total amount realised being between £'3500 and £4000.
