Mr Knox, tho general manager of tho Sugar Company, who was called to givo evidenco, desired •to read a prepared statement. The Chairman of the Commission explained that tho Commission wcrald first take evidenco in the form'of question and answer. Mr Knox persisted in reading from tho statement, and finally the Chairman angrily declared the sitting closed.
