RANGIORA. Owing to the stormy weather yesterday, the attendance and entry- at the Rangiora market were, below tho average. There- was a yarding of about 4000 shoep, of which 2000 were fat. Prices were:—Fat lambs 14s to 19e 2d, fat wethers 16s to 20s 4d, and fat ewes 11s to 16s 10d. Tho principal lines sold were:—For T. Miles and Son, 321 lambs at 16s 6d, 90 wethers at 2Qs 4d, and 100 ewes at 14s 7d. Very littlo business was done, in store sheep, 'the sales, made being at ruling rates. About 50 cattle wero yarded. Fat Iteifcre made £o 155.t0 £9, springers i-4 10s to £11 2s 6d. and young cattle £2 15s to £3 ss. There was an entry of (X) pigs. Baconers sold at nOs to 60s, stores 20s to 3-"c, and small pigs at os to 10s. In the produce, yards, heavy crossbred' skins sold to 4s 6d. lighter 6orts to 2s 6d; merinos 3s 6d. lighter 2s; lambskins 2s 6d to 4s, calfskins 2s' 3d. hides 5d per lb, fleece wool 7}d, pieces 3d to od, fat 1-Jd : poultry, roosters 6s a couple, hens Is lOd ; chickwheat 3s 9d a bushel. Capo barley 2s 9<l. oats 2s 6d. peas 3s 6d, shaqis 8s 9d a sack, wheatmeal Us, potatoes 10s, carrots 3s, Swede turnips 3s 6d, oateheaf chaff 3s 6d. straw chaff 3s; peaches 2d per lb. tomatoes 2d. apples 2s 6d a case.
