The weekly stock sale was hold at tho Tinwald yards yesterday, when there was a large attendance. The yarding of fat sheep constituted a record, tbo total being 7448, an increase of 4721 on the previous week's entry. Of the yarding 2014 were fat ewes, 298 tat wethers, and 5136 fat lambs. Although the quality of the fat sheep yarded wo 5 not all up to standard, there was keen competition among freezing buyers, and very few lines were passed at auction. Fat ewes made up to 16s, fat wethers to 16s lOd, and fat lambs to 19a lOd.PPrie s obtained were as follow: —Prime ewes 13s to 15s 4d, extra heavy 16s, medium weights 10s 6d to 12s S-I, light weights 9s 4d to 10s. prime wethers 15s to 16s lOd, others 13s 6d to 14s Gd, prime freezing lambs 15s to 17s Bd. extra heaw 18s Gd to 19s lOd, medium weights 13s 6d to 14s lOd. light weights 12s.
