NORDON CHALLENGE SHIELD. (PRESS ASSOCIATION TELEGRAM.) WELLINGTON. April 24. The -final match for the Nordon challenge shield was played here to-day, and resulted in the defeat of Marlborough by Manawatu by 6 goals to nil. Crump scored four goals, and Fitt and Hammer one each.
A special general meeting of the Sydenham Hockey Club, in conjunction with all intending lady players, is
called for this evening in the Sydenham Public Library for the purpose rf adopting definite rules with regard to a ladies' team.
