MOTUKARARA CAMP.
Tne First Afounted Rifles and No 6 Mounted Ambulance Brigade go into ramp on Victoria. Park, Alotukarara, on April Iflth to the 27th, and it is, expected that the total strenr-th will bo close on 500. Our representative, who visited the site yesterday, writes that a better sunt could not have been r'lnsen. Alotukarara is eight miles from Lincoln by rail, and the flajj stat'on is only some three minutes' walk from tho entrance to tho nark. The park itself i**s a well-grassed enclosure, completely surrounded by a belt of wellcrown trees, which will alford the best shelter for officers, men and horses. The adjacent country is admirably suited for all kinds ol mounted work, while the pork itselr will afford ample mom for all foot drill, physical exer-<-i«es. and ambulance work. Owing to the great success which has attended the various other camns held during the nasi threo weeks, tho Alotukarara encampment is being looked forward to with specinl interest, and it should most certainly completely dispel any remnant of anti-militarism which may exist.
