TEMPLETON CAMP.

.\t the Templeton Camp yesterday. the morning was devoted to company drill, at which excellent work was put in. At 2.15 sports wero commenced, followed by a football match between M company and the regiment. After tho sports, the prizes were presented by Colonel Smith, and three cheers were given for the officers, and threo for Colonel Smith. The results of tho sports were :— 100 yds: first prize, rug, presented by Alajor Murphy- second, brushes, pre-t-ented by Major Rutherford; third, silver pencil-case, presented by the regiment —Parsons 1. Simnson 2, Armstrong 3. Siamese Race; prize presented by tho regiment—Coles, Coatty and Hammond (X Company), 16sec, 1; Bell, Davis and Jackson (A Company), 2. Cross-country Race: first prize, brushes, presented by Colonel Day; "ccond prize, aneroid barometer, presented by Major Anderson; third prize, silver pencil-case—Henderson 1, Atkinson 2, Parr 3.

Tent Pitching: first prize, six razor strops, presented by the regiment; .-pcond prize, six shaving-brushes and soap, presented by the regiment—D Company 1, H Company 2. Best-kept Tent: prize. 7 medals, presented by Captain Salmondson—D , Company 1. Squad Competition: challenge cup -and thirteen medals, presented by 'Colonel Smith— A Company 1.
