Owing to the apn/oaching holidays there was a keen demand for guaranteed ejrgs at the auction sale yesterday. First grade realised Is 6id to Is 7Jd, second grade Is 5d to Is 6d, duck eggs" Is 4}d to Is s|d per dozen.
Dalgety and Company, Ltd., have received the following cable message -from their London office, dated London. March 25th:—"Wool Sales.—The list of arrivals for tho sales which open on April 11th .is closed. New arrivals amounted to 602,000 bales,-of which some 343,000 bales . wero forwarded direct to manufacturers at Home and abroad, leaving (with 14,000 bales carried forward from last series) 273,000 bales available for sale."
