SYDENHAM v. LINWOOD.
At Lancaster Park, Sydenham met Linwood for their concluding match this season, when thu fo-mei" batted first, and opened with Woods and Hobbs against tho bowling of Thomas and Perrin. The first wicket openvl splendidly, Woods playing sound cvick-t for the top score, 72, and Hobbs wirji 55, also batted splendidly. Windsor added a useful 64, and Bruges notuhod 47, the innings eventually closing with the total at 307. Linwood, with raif an hour to bat, opened with Perrin and Price, Bennott opening tho bowling.
