Ho refers to tho doublo bond of tho river Thames precluding vessels of 650 feet in longth from negotiating this bend. 1 have it on tho authority of tho shipping companies that there is no likelihood of vessels of a greater length than 500 feet being used in tho "New Zealand Trade. —Yours, etc., F.
