Ambrose 17, W. Wikon 15), Kaiapoi 124 (G. Rollinson 56 not out, Crawshaw 18, Pearoo 11, Wylie 10).\ Merrin and Minson bowled for * Kai-' apoi, Maddains and Ambrose for Rangiora. > In tho senior competition a match ■was commenced on SaturcLay between West Eyreton and Oxford.
