Tho "Press" Club' defeated Large and Allun's employees by 17 runs at St. Albans- Park on Saturday. The latter batted first and compiled 37 (G. ■ Biggs 10). K. Thompson, 6 wickets I for 17, and W. Homer, 3 for 10, • bowled best. The "Press" replied w;*th ;54 (W. Homer 15, G. Caldwell 12, and K. Thompson. 10). Dunn, Riggs, and Tolcher took the wickets for the losers.
