SYDENHAM v. LINWOOD.
Sydenham resumed batting against Limvood, at Sydenham Park, on a gocd wicket. Hayes and - Watson continued the innings, and both showed splendid form, adding 39 to last week's total of 82, when Hayes was out Ibw to Perrin. Bruges joined Watson, and 'rune piled on at a great rate, .until Wataon played, ono on from Thomas. Winsor then joined Bruges, who was batting freely, and runs still camo rapid .y, until Bruges, in trying to lift Orchard for six, was bowled. This partnership added 110 runs, of which Bruges compiled 80. Winsor was shortly afterwards bowled by Orchard for 61, made by some fine strckes. After this no.stand of any importance ' was made, Sydenham having a two-point win well in hand. Linwood followed on, but the bowling proved too good, A. E. Ridley 20 and S.
