THE NEED OF A CHANGE OF GOVERNMENT.
TO THE EDITOB OF "THE PBKS3." Sir,—A groat song is being made of what tho GovornmLnt has done for New Zealand. For my part 1 cannot sec it, as they have never taken the initiative, but always waited to leaxn what the people insisted on, or sneaked the ideas of tho Opposition. 'The' Ministry, has lost all fueling for toe true lines of party government, or would have resigned on many occasions when its policy was challenged, and it seems to mc that if it is fired out there will be some lovely revelations as to the true state of the country. I think a changa will do good, and think If tome .-real i eolid working, men are elected, it will be a benefit to all, but the professional politician, who is all things to all men, is an abomination to any country, and I hope we will get rid of them, a great many of which could not earn £300 a year to savo their lives.—Yours, etc., OFF WARD.
