(rBESS ASSOCIATION TELECRAU.I DUNEDLN, December 9. Mr J. W. Munro, the defeated candidate for Dunedin West, writes: —"I am informed that some of 31r Millar'a committee are canvassing the electors of Dunedin West, with tlie story that I am going to do all I possibly can to get the Minister returned on the second ballot, and that I promised Mr Millar to that effect. I wish hare to give an emphatic denial to that stcry, and anyone stating .to the contrary is saying what is absolutely contrary to fact." . Two cases of personation have been reported in connection with Thursday's polling, and it is i:rcbabiQ that more will be heard of the matter. It is said tliat the names of persona who are dead were used.
