DUVAUCHELLE MONTHLY SALE.

The November monthly sale was very largely attended, and probably owing to tho favourable weather, prices showed a slight advance on the last sale. There was a fair entry of stock, tho range of prices being:—Fat cows, £6 7s 6d to £7 7s 6d; two-year steers, up to £4 7s ~6d: eighteen-months steers, to £3 7s 6d; empty heifers, £3 2s to £3 12s; springers,-£6 15s to £7 t3s; fat steers, to £10 15s; yearlings, to 325.

Following the stock sale, an auction of the Duvauchelle Bay Estate, belonging to Mr H. W. Piper, was held. This property has recently been sub-dirided into dairy farms, 6ome twenty of which, exclusive of the homestead, were submitted to the hammer, and realised oxoellent values, only two being passed at £16 10s por ncre. Prices obtained were from £24 10s per acre to £37 10s peT acre, the whole estate offered realising an average of £29 lis per acre.
