OPERA HOUSE.
' The change of programme at tho Opera ITonso last evening pleased a typical holiday audience. Mr Bob Lloyd made a great hit with his anti-prohibi-tion Song and looturette, ' getting answers to his pointed questions from all parts of tho house. Miss Essie Jennings, ballad singer, mado her reappearance, and was encored warmly. S\ r Sam La Mert, the whistler, was as successful as when he ,vns here before. "The Natrona] Duo," Mi's Nellie Power, and "Ward T/car, helped to make r... thc first part of the programme. Tho second half was noticeable for th> work of Mr Charles Emerald and Miss Maude Dupre, the American knock-about come•dians, whose turn was most spirited. : Martinetti and Grossi made their rej abearance, duplicating their previous j success. Tho samo programme will be I repeated to-night.
