SCHOOL COMMITTEES.
SYDENHAM,
The Sydenham School Committee met on Tuesday evening, the Rev. J. P. Cocks presiding. The headmaster reported for the month ending September 22nd. iiumber on roll 1139, average attendance 971, highest attendance 1071. Tho. Board of Education submitted four names for tho position of assistant • mistress in place of Miss Ormandy, resigned, and the ballot resulted in Miss V. B. Williams being recommended for the appointment. The statement of the school concert showed a credit balance of £31 4s.
