BANGIOBA CLUB. The Rangkwa Bowling, iennie and Croquet Club, at a. committee meeting on Tuesday evening, decided to open tne season, together with tne new pavi.lion, on the last Saturday in October. Mr G. Geddie, the caretaker, was reapnointed, and also a committee to revieo tbe rules. The roll cumber was stated at 187, eight new members beine , eleoied."
A well attended meeting was held in the Belfast Library on Tuesday evening to oontatier the advisability of forming a bowling club, a very munificent offer on, the part of the directors of the Canterbury Frozen Meat Co. being responsible for the initiation of the movement. It is understood that the Company is willing to bear the expenses of laying down a green with all necessary conveniences to be availab'e, provided a club could bo farmed in the district. As the information before the meeting was hardly of a. definite character, it was resolved that j Messrs Xichol \s and Guihrie and the Rev. ! Wilkinson wait upon the reprefontativee of I the Company nnd obtain full information in I regard to tho offer end report to a further j meeting to bo h«!d on Friday evening.
