The bos plan for the whole season opens at the Dresden this morning at jiino o'clock. Already very many applications have been made for reserved seafo—some from as far south as Timaru. Tho fact that a largo number of people aro visiting_ Christchurch for tho races does not, it is claimed, entirely explain the. yery heavy booking. Tho band will arrive "by the urst express . next Monday, and open their Christchurch season at tho King J£divord BarracKs the same evening.
